Columbus County doesn’t participate in a state program that helps finance low cost spaying and neutering of cats and dogs. Do you think the county is doing enough?

Commissioners unanimously approved a $479,000 economic development package Monday for Top Tobacco in Lake Waccamaw. Economic Development Director Jim Hinkle said the grant is based on a $16.5 million Top Tobacco expansion and the creation of 70 additional jobs. Do you think incentives are worth it?
